Start a Nature Journal
The most convenient way to capture your native plant garden is by snapping photos with your phone. It is quick and can be saved to the Cloud for future viewing. But what I discovered recently is nature journalling. John Muir Laws is a principal leader of the worldwide nature journaling movement. Nature journaling is collecting and organizing your observations, questions, connections, and explanations on the pages of a notebook using words, pictures, and numbers. He says a nature journal is a lens that focuses our attention and crystalizes our observations, thoughts and experiences. I am no artist but have started to capture my native plants in a way that also benefits my mental well-being.
